Temperature and very quiet

My daughter is 2 years and 4 months old, she is very lively, chatty and active. Every now and again she goes very quiet, and runs a temperature, she will try and sleep (very unlike her) and is generally not herself. This is happening at least once a week, and at no specific time during the day.
I have taken her to the doctor and he cant find anything wrong, she had a slight temperature, her glands were slightly swollen and her one ear was slightly pink but he said nothing to be concerned about.
I am afraid there is something more serious wrong. My next step is to take her to a paediatrician.

It is important to be sure that your little girl does not have a bladder or urinary system infection among other possible causes of a recurrent fever. She would be best off if she is seen by her paediatrician.
