Q.

Teething &  High fever

My baby has started teething. He has been crying the whole day and has a very high fever. I have tried empaped suppositories and panado syrup but the fever is not breaking.

He is not sleeping eating or drinking.

Is this normal? What can I do more?

Your baby's high fever is not due to teething. His fever is not responding to the Empaped or to the Panado syrup which are both excellent treatments for fever in infants.Your baby may be getting an illness such as 'baby measles' also known as Roseola or he may have an ear infection or there may be another cause for his high fever. He should be seen by a doctor.
