Hi, please advise if I should be concerned: my daughter just turned 6 months old. the last few days she has had a very runny yellow stool, is no longer sleeping as long as she did before (although never slept through before), very restless, and no longer eats as much. I assume these are teething symptoms? My only concern is the runny stool - we are monitoring her, she never has a fever, and it''s only about 3 to 4 times a day. (before when she had gastro, it was almost every 2 hours with vommitting too, and doctor said there was not much he could do for her). No vommiting this time around. We are giving her rehydrate. Is the stool related to teething? I dont want to take her to dr because of his last response, and this time does not seem as serious as last time. thanks...

your baby does appear to be teething now. Her stools are unlikely to be due to teething. Have you introduced a new solid into her diet lately? She may be reacting to wheat in a cereal. She should only be on a rice cereal. Do not give her baby carrots either. She can have apple but no other fruit.
