Q.

teething?

my baby boy is turning 6 months this week, since the weekend...he has had a high fever, and he is moody, i think he could be teething. is fever normal when a baby teeths, for the first time. i can see white teeth in his gums that''s why i assume he is teeting...he has been drooling for the time he was 3 months old, and he eats everything he puts his hands on.

Your baby is definitely teething, but his fever especially a high fever is not due to teething. He probably has an infection. The likely infections are a possible ear infection or bladder infection or a viral illness such as Roseola if he really had a very high fever.
