Q.

Teething

my Eight months old has diarhoea and she' s vomiting and a bit of a fever. She' s also restless especially at night. She also bites everything that i give her even the dummy so i think her first teeth are coming out. but is she supposed to have diarhoea? what should i get to reduce the pain and discomfort?

Your baby is teething but she also has a gastro infection which is probably due to a virus infection.As she is vomiting as well as having diarrhoea she runs the risk of becoming dehydrated and also losing important body salts. Give her extra sips of a ehidrat solution which you can buy at your nearest pharmacy. If she is still vomiting or has bad diarrhoea in the morning she must be seen by a doctor.
