Q.

TB

My sister in law was diagnosed with TB. She was sick for about 2 years now, but nobody thought to test for TB. She' s been in contact with my 7 month old baby a few times. Should I have my baby tested? My baby did have the BCG vaccine at birth.

The BCG vaccination does offer a great deal of protection against TB, but sometimes it is insufficient to protect a baby against close contact with a TB sufferer. It would be best to have your baby tested for TB.
