Q.

Tantrums

My son is 21 months. The last two nights he has been waking up and having a tantrum. It takes about half an hour to calm him. He seems angry and has a blank look on his face. I must add that I am six months pregnant. What could be the problem?

This does not sound like a tantrum. More likely is a night terror. This is common at your son's age and is usually a passing phase.Just go to him when he wakes up and calm him then leave his room.It will help to put a night light in his bedroom.
