Q.

Symptoms 24 hours to 2 weeks after birth

I would like to inquire if I was given a certain type of drug during labour which posed adverse side effects to my baby would it definitely be noted 24 hours to two weeks after birth. Or can it take longer than that to note that some of the drugs did not correspond with your baby?

Usually if the drug was given during labour the effects would be present in the infant at birth and possibly for up to 24 hours after birth.
