Q.

swollen gums

hi doc,
my 2 yr old daughter had a nasty fall the other day and her upper lip and gums are terribly swollen,she can''t eat and cries constantly from the pain,the right part of her face is also swollen.it even affected her ears cos'' she holds them from time to time screaming.What do i do?

It is possible that your little girl has fractiured her cheek bone which is very painful.This is besides her other injuries which you mention here. It would be best to atke her to be seen by a doctor preferably at a hospital as she may need an Xray.
