Q.

Swallowing wind

My son was born two weeks ago (6 weeks prem). He is doing very well and loves feeding. He hasn't latched on the breast very well yet so we feed him 50ml of his mom's extracted milk from a bottle every 3 hours. We are however finding that he swallows a lot of winds during the feeding and the burping process takes at least 30 minutes at a time. I'm not certain why this is and it may be because his still so tiny and is still improving his sucking skills. Could you advise on how to best avoid him swallowing to many winds and what the best burping process may be?
