Q.

suppository drama

My daughter is 2 and half years old and the other night she had a terrible fever of 40’ , the doctor told me to put in an Empaped suppository. which I did , , , she is now so traumatised that when I put on her night nappy she refuses to let me put cream on –  and tells me I mustn’ t hurt her. I am devastated what can I do, will she EVER get over this.

Your daughter will get over this but do not use suppositories for her again.If she needs a medicine for fever or pain in future always give it by mouth such as Panado or Calpol.
