Q.

suffering from Tonsils what should he eat

Hi Doc

my son is suffering from Tonsils and we have a date book for him to remove them in October, but he is always crying when he eat that he throat is saw what should he eat he is 5 years

This is not an easy question to answer as children with infected and enlarged tonsils find it difficult to swallow certain foods.He will prefer soft foods at the moment so you can give him mainly mashed food to eat. He should drink as much water as he can manage.He will not enjoy hot drinks such as rooibos tea now. He will love to eat ice cream which is very soothing.
