MY one year old is healthy, playfull and running aroung. He weighs 12.6kg and has 10 teeth of which the two top molars are only halfway out. All of a sudden he now wakes at night -after sleeping through previously - and asks a bottle. I have since substituted the milk for tea, but still two bottles per night! He eats well during the day i.e. porridge in the morning, big yoghurt at 13h00 and dinner at about 6pm. In between he has 4-6 full cream milk bottles of 250ml each and as much water and tea as he wants (about 4-5). He sleeps during the day from 11am to 13pm.

Your baby is a big and healthy and he is drinking an enormous amount of fliud per day.His waking for a bottle does not seem to have any obvious cause, unless you have recently moved or there has been some disturbance of his normal routine. He is waking once at night which is not really a problem and hopefully this will not go on too much longer. Don't give him too much attention when you give him his bottle at night otherwise he will start to enjoy this too much.
