Q.

Stuttering

Hi Dr

I have a toddler of 2y3months, she actually started to talk very early and very fluently. About a few weeks ago we experienced that she is stuttering. I''m really concerned about it what can we do to help her or must we take her to a doctor. Please advice urgently!

Thanks
Celeste

This is very common at your little daughter's age. It is almost always just a passing stage. If she is still stuttering at 3 years, which is unlikely, then she should be seen by a speech therapist.
