Q.

stuttering

hi dr,my daughter will be 3 in december.For the past week she has been stuttering suddenly.I am so traumatised by this,as I had a stuttering problem when i was in school.I have since outgrown it.What can i do to help her stop.I am a stay at home mum.please help!!!!!!!

This is very common and is usually a temporary problem which soon passes over.The only reason I think that you need to ask a speech therapist to see her is because of her age. If she was a bit younger you could simply ignore her stuttering, but now it would be in her best interests to see an expert.
