Q.

stopping the dummy &  9 month vaccination

My son is 10 months old &  Im trying to wean him of the dummy/pacifier. He mainly uses it to sleep or occassionally just to stop him from crying. I also like to find out he hasnt had his 9 month vaccination yet, when I took him to the nurse I was told to wait a while as he had measles at 7 months &  at the time he also had a slight cold, is it fine to take him for his vaccination now?

Your son is ready for his measles vaccination.A good trick to get your baby off his dummy is to cut a very small piece off the end of the dummy each day making it shorter and shorter. Eventually it will be so short that your baby will not be able to suck on it any more and should stop demanding his dummy.
