Sometimes this happens for a few days when a baby is changed onto a different formula. A very common cause is due to babies being given an iron supplement such as Vidaylin with iron. Sometimes this colour can be due to bleeding in the upper part of the intestines and is seen in babies who have a form of milk allergy. If your baby is not on an iron supplemnt it would be best to ask your paediatrician to aee her and to test her stool.
