Stomach Cramps

My daughter 7 months yesterday was playing with kids who were eating ice cream, And I found her all covered in ice cream and she is lactose intolerant. At night she was not settled she seemed ti have stomach cramps and woke up with a bit of rash on her chin. Could this be from the ice cream she had? What can I give her just in case something like this happen.?I t was out of my control as I was 2 mins in the house and when I came back they had given her a lick of it.

You have given an excellent descrition of what can happen when a child who is lactose intolerant is given even a very small amount of a dairy product, in this case the ice cream. The only part that is unusual and is more suggestive of an actual allergy to cow's milk is th fact that your baby daughter developed a rash on her chin afterwards. It would be a good idea to have some Allecet syrup at home [an antihistamine] in case she again develops an allergic-like reaction. The dose for your baby is 1.25 ml given as a single dose.
