Stinky armit

Good day,

My daughter is 6.5 years old. Last year her armpits started smelling REALLY bad. even straight after bathing. I tried to get help medically but was not successful. I then did my own research and discovered that the cause could be the hormones in the milk - she LOVED milk. We then swiched to organic milk and started using that salt based roll on - don''t remember name but it''s looks like salt but it''s hard - you put under water before using). 90% of the problem went away. Now the smell starts after about 10 hours or so - around the time she normally baths anyway.

What I learnt from the research was that the hormones that causes smell of armits it produced by the body from around puberty. the other external source could be milk. since we have cut out the milk why doen she still get the smell? Is her body producing the hormones now? does that mean she has had puberty early?
Is there anything we can do to solve the problem fully?

You have given an excellent description of your concerns. Your daughter is only 6 years old yet is starting with one of the early signs of puberty. This is called 'precocious puberty' as she is entering puberty before the age of 9 or 10 years. She should be seen by a paediatrician who may decide to do hormone tests of he/she thinks this is necessary. It may not be necessary to do the tests but this will depend on the paediatrician's opinion once s/he has examined her.
