still has wind and vomits

Hi doc

I have a 9 month old boy who has always suffered from wind in his tummy and ' posseting'  his food. The vomiting happens mostly after his feed but can be throughout the day. It has never seemed to cause a problem for him and his growth is good. I thought maybe by this age it should have stopped but it carries on as much as ever. Even after he has eaten solid food he still vomits a fair amount. I did try losec but it didn' t make much difference. The reason seems to be wind that gets trapped in his tummy. Is there anyway to stop this or anything I can do about it?

Your baby still has a problem with reflux. Losec stops the stomach acid but does not deal with the actual reflux. If you consider that your baby's reflux is worrying him or making him uncomfortable then consult your paediatrician.
