steroid cream

Please can u advise me on what is the best steroid cream to use on a toddlers eczema. I''m quite sceptical about using steroid creams but my doc says its the next step to treat the eczema. Pls advise on how often the cream should be used.

You should only use the mildest steroid cream available such as Mylocort Ointment or Cream. This cream is applied once daily preferably after bathing your child. Only use the treatment until the rash clears up and then stop. You may need to re-start using it again from time to time, but only for as long as is necessary each time.
