Q.

Stature

Dear Prof

If you saw a 2-year old who showed no increase in stature over a 3 month period, would you be concerned?

Could possible respiratory allergy (not ver apparent) cause failure to thrive?

Children do not grow continuously with their height increasing by the day, instead they grow in a step-wise manner, so there are fits and starts with their growth.Having said this, no growth for 3 months is unusual for a 2 year old and it would be worthwhile to see if this little child is growing normally or not. What I need to know is the exact age in months of this child as well as his/her weight.
