This is a serious matter. You need to take your son to see a doctor ASAP so that a proper daignosis can be made of the cause of his mouth bleeding.

Belinda, you need to make a new post for this question, the Pediatrician can''t see anything except the first post, ie he can''t see any replies to the post.

My daughter started bleeding from the mouth on 22/05/2012. She was not coughing, sneezing or having a fever, never complained about pain anywhere except for her eyes (says it feels like her eyeballs are hurting at the back). She has good appetite and is forever munching though she always weighs between 39 to 51kg. She''''s about 1,7m. We had lots of tests done, lost some blood samples during this time and had them re-done. Since 14/07/2012 she''''s been complaining of a headache that won''''t subside. She says it feels as though her head and lower back are burning and since 17/07/2012 she also started with spontaneous nose bleeds.

No she hasn''t been 4 an MRI yet, we are currently waiting for a factor 8 Von Willebrand test to come back from Bloemfontein

If you haven''t already seen a neurologist, ask to be referred to one.

Belinda, you will need to repost your entire question as the Prof cannot see you second part. To me it sounds like a sinus bleed from the sinuses behond the eyes. Has you duaghter had an MRI??
