Q.

Sore Penis

Hi MY SON IS 8 YEARS OLD WHEN HE HAS A BATH AND HAS TO WASH HIS PENIS (NOT CIRCUMSIZED) HE SAY' S IT IS SENSITIVE. HE DOES NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT IT BEING SORE JUST WHEN HE HAS TO WASH IT I DO NOT LET HIM WASH IT WITH SOAP. SHOULD I BE WORRIED OR IS THIS NORMAL.

This is normal. There is no need to push back the foreskin. Just wash his penis than using a soft wash cloth and wash gently.

Soap, if not washed off can burn the glans and inner foreskin mucosa. Ensur ethat your son rinses and dies properly.
His glans is also highly sensitive, gentle washing by hand and not a facecloth or othr abrasive material may also resolve the situation.
