Q.

SORE AND TIRED KNEES AND LEGS

My 2 year son has been complaining for the past few nights that his knees and legs are sore. He often wakes up at night crying in pain. However, it does not appear that there are any bruises etc.
We simply give him Calpol and rub his legs with Zam-Buk. He then sleeps and wakes up again a while later crying.
Is this growing pains and what can we do to ease it?

Your son is a bit young for this complaint but he does seem to be having typical growing pains. You are treating him correctly. This is usually just a temporary complaint and children should soon stop complaining about these pains.
