Just relax about this and give him a break for at leasr 2 weeks without even mentioning sitting on the toilet. Let him wear trainer pants in the meantime. When you get back from holiday try again but use a reward syatem. If he sits on the toilet he gets a star and if he passes a stool while there he gets another star. When he has collected 10 satrs he gets a reward [usually a small present ] Keep up with this programme until his toilet habits are routine. Don't ever shout at him or scold him if he refuses to sit on the toilet. Little boys often take a lot longer than little girls to get things right.
