Q.

Son has Teary Eyes

Good day. My 4 yr old son has teary eyes. They never used to worry him and he never complained that it was sore, but this morning he woke up with red eyes and they has some sort of pus and exsessive tears.

Please advise on what to do, i can only take him to the doctor on the weekend as i work during the week - pls advise if I need to take this serious and take him to the doctor immediately.

His eyes are usually white just teary but i got a fright last night.

Your son may have blocked tear ducts if his eyes are always teary. It seems that he now has infection of his eyes and should be seen by his doctor. He may need referral to an eye specilaist if he has blocked tear ducts.
