Q.

solids and formula milk

i see in a previous posting that you say that babies should get roughly 140ml for every kg they weigh. my 6 month old girl weighs 9.1kg and is 76cm tall, very tall for her age. she gets 4 teaspoons dry rice cereal mixed with formula at night and a little bit of veg at lunch. her milk intake is 5 bottles of 150ml per day (900ml in total), spaced roughly 3 hours apart. she sleeps through at night. by your calculations she should be getting 1275ml a day but that seems too much. do i just continue to increase her solids and slowly lessen her formula milk intake or do i keep her milk intake the same until 1 year old?

Keep her formula the same. She is doing well.
