Q.

Solids

Dear Doc

What is the appropriate age to introduce a baby to solids? I have heard that the recommended age now is 6 months - is this correct?

Also, is purity a good source of food, or is freshly prepared food better?

Thanks

6 months is the recommended age to introduce solids especially if you have a family history of allergies. Purity infant foods are excellent, but so is food prepared specially at home for your baby.
