Q.

Solal chocolate good for kids?

My little boy is almost 4 years old and autistic. He goes to a special school but I still do ABA therapy (learning with rewards) with him in the afternoon. He is quite stubborn and will only work for treats at this stage and I always have to make them interesting and delicious!

Solal has a product called the Belgian Milk Chocolate Praline bar which has anti-oxidants, 100% RDA vitamins, chromium polynicotinate and probiotics. Is this good/safe for kids or is it too high in vitamins? I have been using normal chocolate for now and to give you an idea, I break it up into such small pieces that he ends up having about 1 1/2 pieces of chocolate per day.

I also give gum-like sweets and try to avoid too many colourants/preservatives/flavourants and sugar - quite a tall order.

Thank you in advance,
Chocolate Mommy

I cannot see any problem with you giving your son small amounts of Solal chocolate. Try to avoid giving him any sweets containing red, yellow or orange colours.
