Q.

smelly urine

My 2 and 1/2 had very smelly urine the last 2 days- you can smell her wet diapers a mile away. She does not complain about anything- but should I be worried?

This is not an easy question to answer. Your little girl's urine may just be more concentrated than normal due to her fluid intake or the weather for example. On the other hand she may have a urinary system infection. Against an infection is that she appears to be well and does not have a fever so there is probably no need to be concerned.

The smell could be from something she eat.

e.g. asparagus ccan make urine very smelly. However, I know most children aren''t chomping on asaparagus.
