Q.

Smelly pee

My LG is 2 years, 9 months old.

She is nearly potty trained (still only on night nappy).

In the morning the nappy is (usually) dry but when she goes to pee for the first time it''s quite smelly and strong in colour. She does not wake up to go to the toilet during the night.

She''s not red or irrated in that area, wipes thoroughly after each toilet session.

During the day she drinks rooibos, milk and water. I try to increase the water intake and make sure she goes to the toilet often.

What could this be?

Thank you for your advice.

This is probably perfectly normal and is only due to your little daughter's urine being very concentrated. She does not wet her nappy during the night. She has made remarkable progress with her potty training.
