Slow hair growth

Hi I have a daughter who is now 6 years old turning 7. Her hair is shoulder length, and most girls her age seem to have much longer hair than she does. Are there any good products that i can use to help, she has dry and brittle hair also.

It is important to be sure that your daughter does not have an under-functioning thyroid gland which is known as hypothyroidism. This is because it is unusual for a girl of almost 7years to have such dry and brittle hair and also slow growing hair. It is a good idea to have her thyroid function tested, this is done with a blood test.If all is well try massaging coconut oil into her hair and scalp in the evening before bedtime. Do not use alkaline shampoos.Use a shampoo called 'Pure Shampoo' [it must NOT be the one with Urea added]-ask your pharmacist.
