Sleepy baby

Hi there

My baby was given Zantaz and Buscopan by my Paed last week. Since then Ive noticed that she sleeps a lot this now from the medication or is this her new sleeping pattern??
She is 6-7 weeks old...if she is sleeping through the night now should i wake her for a feed or can I leave her to wake me up when she is ready??? She weighs 4.2 kg. How much milk should I be giving her in a day anyway?? her appetite does not seem very big...birth weight was 3.065. She seems ok???

It is possible that your baby is drowsy due to the Buscopan. Zantac is unlikely to cause her to be drowsy.Phone your paediatrician and inform him/her about your baby being drowsy. Your baby is thriving and has gained weight reasonably well. You do not need to wake her. Her daily milk intake should be about 640ml.
