Sleeping Problems

My babay is 13 months old.

She has never fallen a sleep on her own.

We have to puch her in the pram for at least and hour or so.

We have tried ALL the methodes in the book to get her to sleep on her own, but nothing is working. We have tried every methodes for the time period thay you should.

When we start puching her in the pram you can see she is very tired, but doesn''t go to sleep.

We have been puching pram now for 13 months and we just can''t do it anymore.

How are we going to her to fall a sleep on her own?

Thank You

Obviously something is wrong here as your baby has never slept properly since she was born. I presume that her weight is good and that she is not teething now. The most likley cause for this kind of sleeping problem is reflux. Her stomach acid may be refluxing up and causing her pain and discomfort. She should be seen by a doctor and examined for possible reflux. If she has reflux and she is put on the correct medicine she will go to sleep very well and without any problems.

If she is already on medication for reflux, then my guess would be tha''t it''s bad habits. How long did you do the " cry it out"  method for? maybe you should give that another try... to get more tips or some advise about this, I suggest you post a question on the Parenting Forum, there are lots of ladies (including me :-) very willing to give some advise and tips. Always nice to hear form other mommies that went through the same thing...

She is on Lanzor for her relux. She gets moved to her cot after she falls asleeep. The pram is situated in her room. Yes I have tried the above mentiod methodes.

What to do?

does she get moved to a cot after she falls asleep or does she sleep throughout the night in her pram? Where is the pram situated when you are trying to get her to sleep - in the lounge, in her room? Have you tried the " controlled crying"  or " cry it out"  method?
