Sleeping 8 month old

My boy almost 8 months just had a month where he slept through until for the last week he has been waking for more than 4 to 5 times a night...he will not go back to sleep without a bottle around 4...This then creates the problem that he does not want his bottle at 6/7.... I am worried that I am not given him enough food during the day...he does get breakfst (8 -cereal) lunch (12-fruit) &  dinner (5 - veggies) He drinks prox 500ml during day (3-4) bottles incl the one before he goes to bed...I know this is not enough..but he refuses to finish his bottle at night! Do I give him less food...? Or do they just change .....I see the white bumps of the teeth but it does not seem to bother him during the day...however he does drewl alot and put everything in his mouth...

Your baby is certainly not drinking enough milk every day. His intake requirements are at least 120ml to 140ml for every kilo he weighs per day.He is eating a very good diet on the solids side.He is also teething and this may have a lot to do with his waking at night. It is difficult to advise you to cut back on his solids and offer him more mik as he seems not to want to drink it. Offer his milk before the solids and he may take a lot more.
