Sleeping (5 months old)

I have 5 month old twins (7.5kg and 7kg) born at 38.5 weeks, they are very healthy. I' ve started on solids about a month ago and that seems to go down without any hick-ups. My problem is this... the one twins wakes up between 2:00 and 3:00 every morning. He doesn' t get a feed or even gets picked up. I' ll just sit by his bed and maybe gently tap him till he dose off again (this can sometimes take 30min). They don' t get rocked to sleep when I put them to bed at 19:00 and they can self sooth very well. This has been going on for 3 weeks. They both drink 660ml milk per day, and gets 3 feeds during the day. What could be causing this? What can I do to get him to stretch till at least 5:00 in the morning? I' d prefer not to feed during the night.

Your babies should not be hungry as they are getting solids but one twin may in fact be waking because he is hungry. The problem may be that your twins is not taking enough milk especially the baby that is waking at 2am.The 7kg baby needs 980ml per day and the 7.5kg twin needs 1050ml per day.
