Hi doc. My boy is 3 1/2 months old. He used to sleep through the night, but lately he wakes up at around 1 and 4 in the morning for milk. Might he be going through a growth spurt? and would it maybe help if I give him like a teaspoon of purity maize cereal at night, just to make him a bit fuller? or is he too young to be eating cereal already. I have to work during the day, and the waking up at nights is really getting me down. I''m constantly tired, and can''t function properly anymore. I just need a good night''s sleep. please help.

You do not mention how your baby is being fed. If he is on a formula feed then give him Novalac SD [sweet dreams] formula for his last feed in the evening.Your baby is too young to start on solids now. Wait until he is at least 4 months before introducing solids.
