Q.

Sleeping

I was just wondering if it is safe to have a baby swaddled all night. My baby is three months and sleeps nine or ten hours straight through the night but I am worried that having her swaddled and in one position for such a long period of time is not safe or could be causing her discomfort. Should I move her position during the night?

Newborn babies who are swaddled tend to sleep more soundly but it is usually advised that babies not be swaddled when they are more than two months old.
