sleep schedule

Hi Doc

my baby is 6 months. how many waking hours should she have at a time? sometimes she''s awake for three hours at a time and then putting her to sleep becomes a mission beacause she''s over tired.

how can i get her to sleep when she needs to...

The amount of sleep a baby needs varies from baby to baby and also depends on the baby's age.Some babies sleep for long periods, others do not.On average a baby of 6 months needs about 11 hours sleep a night plus two daytime naps of about 1 and a half to 2 and a half hours each.
