Sleep and food

Hi Doc
Please advise, My two and half year old is currently eating pro nutro for toddlers wiith the S26 LACTOSE FREE milk that he used to drink is this fine . Should i change the milk to what kind of milk. He is not drinking any milk at all.
I am also giving him allegex syrup everynite where he seems to cough aand sneeze at a lot and it just clears him. Is this safe and should I go on?

Your son is now 2 and a half years old. He does not need to use the S26LF anymore. If he still has lactose intolerance he should be off all dairy foods. If he can tolerate dairy then you can simply change his milk to a regular full cream milk now. If he is still on a strict lactose free diet then he can change to regular soya milk. He must not use Allergex for his hayfever symptoms. This antihistamine causes children to be excessively tired or irritable. If he still needs an antihistamine rather use Allecet Syrup 5ml at night.
