It is unusual for a child this young to not want to go to sleep until late at night. Your son is probably sleeping too long during the day for his needs and a one and a half hour nap would be better. This may help to make him more sleepy in the evenings. Make sure that he does not have any stimulants at all in the afternoons such as those found in regular tea or chocolate or chocolate drinks. After bathing him put him to bed and read to him until he falls asleep.
