SKIN RASH ON SIX MONTH OLD

DEAR DR PLEASE HELP ME
MY BABY HAS A RASH IT LIKE ROUND RED PATCHES ALL OVER HER INNER THIGHS AND BACK UF UPPER THIGH LEGS IT LOOKS LIKE RING WORMS BUT I DONT THINK ITS THAT I THOUGH IT WAS NAPPY RASH BECUSE IT STARTED INSIDE HER NAPPY INSIDE HER INNER THIGHS I USED BEPANTHEN THAT U RECOMMENDED ITS GONE FROM THERE BUT ON HER LEGS PLEASE ADVISE THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT WORK

Thank you. It is very difficult for me to advise you about your baby's rash without being able to see her. The rash is unlikely to be due to ringworm.The rash may be a form of eczema. Try Mylocort ointment applied twice daily to the rash. If it does not clear after 3 days you will need to take your baby to be seen by a doctor.
