Skin Rash

My DH and I suffered from allergies in the course of last week. Our noses where running, headaches, coughing etc. But we seemed to get over it all well.

My LG who is now 17 months broke out in a rash on Saturday afternoon all over her back. She had her hair cut so I thought it was maybe the little hairs that was making her back itch. She lays on the carpet and moves around, trying to scratch her back. She' s figured out to come to me and lift her shirt so I can scratch.

I bathed her and the rash has still not subsided. I gave her allegex and I' ve bought Stop-Itch but it' s not working.

The rash is small bumps all over her back and has moved to her chest. There are a few bumps that are bigger than the others. She is fine otherwise, no fever, no cough, just runny nose but she' s eating fine it' s just the rash.

Any idea what this could be?

This rash sounds like an allergic rash called urticaria or hives. It responds well to treatment with an antihistamine syrup for a few days. speak to your pharmacist.I am puzzled by your abbreviations;DH and LG??
