Q.

Skin problems at 9 years old

My 9-year old son has been getting white blister-like pimples, particularly on his nose. He also seems to be getting ruptured surface veins on his face. What could be causing these problems, especially in a child? We do not have a history of similar problems in the family.

It is difficult for me to diagnose your son's skin problem without being able to see him. He may have a condtion called lupus. Please take him to be seen by a dermatologist.
