Q.

Sinutab whilst breastfeeding?

Hello Doctor,

I am breastfeeding my 2 week old baby but am suffering from sinus. Am I able to take Sinutab ND? I am afraid it might affect my breast milk.

Thank you for your time.

You cannot take Sinutab ND while breastfeeding as it contains pseudoephedrine which is not permitted in children under 2 years of age.The pseudoephedrine will pass into your breast milk.Just use a saline nose spray to clear your sinus. Sterimar is very useful if used regularly.
