Hello Doc!

My little girl of 2y3m is for ever struggling with allergies, which results in post nasal drip which causes phlegm on the lungs.
At this point she is at the physio daily and Zyrtec does not seem to be helping!
We heard of a little girl struggling with the same and she was put on SingulAir and the problem went away.

Just some history, my little one cannot eat fizzers, bananas, steri stumpies and speckled eggs that we know about. And she got grommets 3 days after her second birthday, and had full blood tests done, but no allergies showed up...

I am at my witts end!!

Thank you so much for all your advice!!

You are very welcome.Your little girl appears to be allergic to preservatives or colouring agents found in certain foods such as those mentioned by you here. These would not show up on the usual allergy tests. She does seem to be an allergic little girl from her other symptoms as well. She would benefit by seeing a paediatric allergist. Failing that she should be on treatment for nasal allergy and possible asthma so she would benefit from being on Singulair.
