Sick and tired of boys chest

Hi, i have a 15 month old boy. I have been struggling with his chest for about 6 weeks now, he has been on antibiotics twice now. Nothing is helping, nose sprays, nebuliser, cough med. He has a green runny nose. Waking up so many times during the night, he is busy cutting a tooth a the mo, but its def not from that. I dont know which way to go anymore, doctor advise is no good as he is not getting better, the last time she saw him she said its his formula, that i totally disagree with as he has been on it for 15 months. When he sees me coming with medicine he starts running already, something else is wrong, i cant give him med for that long and he is still the same.

What should i do, i dont wanna take him back to the doc, and his paed has moved to australia. Any any advise please

Your son's problem is probably due to his blocked nose with a post nasal drip causing his chest infection. I suspect that he has enlarged adenoids. First try and clear his nose by using Salex nose drops three times a day every day until his nose is clear. Nebulise him with the medicine you were given for this machine, use it twice a day. Stop all other medicines. Give him a probiotic such as Probiflora or Reuteri for at least 10 days to boost his immunity. You may need to see an ENT specialist if his nose continues to be blocked and the green discharge persists.
