shivering

hi doc
i have a 3yrs old, i know its cold these days but i feel i should ask as this ocured twice, the other day i was taking him to creche and i noticed he was shivering it concerned me but i thought aggh its cold, yesterday was pretty cold too and he just woken up from his afternoon nap and he was shivering then i put his jacket on and a few min he was fine, he has asthama but its mild, could this be a symptom of something?

Your son's shivereing may be due to him being cold.This may also occasionally be due to one of the medicines that is commonly used in children with asthma called Seretide which contains a long-acting bronchodilator called Serevent.It is the Serevent bronchodialtor that may cause trembling or shivering in some children.
