shingles in my 10 yr old

hi, about a year ago my 10 year old had what the dr said looked like shingles and ii done some research on it and all that i find is hiv stuff, im scared to death, please help?

You are being over-concerned about this. I presume that your daughter has fully recovered from the shingles which should reassure you that she has a normal immine system. Shingles is closely related to chicken pox and sometimes when a child has not had chicken pox or goes through a temporaray period of stress or illness then they become vulnerable to getting shingles if they are in contact with someone with shingles or chicken pox.Shingles can be treated with an anti-viral medicine these days.
